Dr. Brekke

Dr. Ethan Brekke is passionate about building rapport with patients and providing exceptional dental care. He enjoys working closely with people, critical thinking, practicing art, and educating patients to help them attain their best oral health. Dentistry allows Dr. Brekke to do what he loves daily.

In 2016 Dr. Brekke earned his BS in Biology with a minor in Psychology at St. Scholastica here in Duluth. From there, he attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS in 2020. While in school, Dr. Brekke dedicated his time volunteering and providing dental care during events and for organizations, such as Give Kids A Smile and Hope Community Dental Clinic. In his final year of dental school, Dr. Brekke was awarded The University of Minnesota Academic Skills Award for his dedication to academic excellence and skills in the dental clinic.

While attending St. Scholastica, Dr. Brekke met his fiancé, Kate. They love exploring and adventuring all that the Duluth area has to offer. Ethan and Kate enjoy spending their time doing a variety of outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and camping. After graduating from dental school, Ethan and Kate are excited to be back in the northland and call Duluth home once again.
